| Job Description |
I am a Research Engineer at the Thermal Spray Laboratory, SUNY Stony Brook, since January 1985. Responsible for managing laboratory, supervisor of equipment for undergraduate and graduate research studies. Project engineer on industrial and governmental sponsored research programs. Responsible for operation and maintenance of thermal spray equipment. Thermal spray lab equipment includes automated vacuum and air plasma spray systems, articulated robots, handheld air plasma guns; wire & powder thermospray guns; electric arc guns; detonation gun; hypersonic spray guns; plastic flamecoat guns; and laser diffraction particle size analyzer equipment.
