| Current Activities & Interests |
My research focuses on the rapid thermal processing (RTP) of thermal spray coatings. The objective is to understand how the properties of thermal spray coatings can be tailored to an application by the materials post-spray processing. In particular my goal is in determining the materials change in conductivity, microstructure, and internal stress as a function of time, temperature, and environment.
My interests are in the process control, optimization, and characterization of materials from various systems and processes.
